Stay in areas where the quests are designed for your level. Different classes will have different strong points, so understanding your class thoroughly will help when power leveling. Choosing the warlock class means magic is your strong point, not hand-to-hand combat, so you are more likely to win battles and gain power leveling experience by using magic. As you level, get better gear to keep up with the new monsters you will be fighting.

 

Rested experience will cause you to gain power leveling experpience points from monsters twice as fast as normal, but it will not increase experience gains from other sources such as PvP or quests. Leave the city and kill monsters that are around your level until you gain enough experience to exhaust your accumulated rested experience. Buy a run-through of hard dungeons and quests. Red quest XP is always better than green or yellow. Paying gold for a higher-level character to run you through areas can save time and repair bills.

 

Add-ons such as Atlas Loot can provide information about the gear you need and where to acquire it. In WoW, players can create dozens of characters across different servers, but it can be difficult to have enough time to level up many different characters. One way to increase power leveling speed on less active characters is to use rested experience--a special temporary experience gain bonus that you can build up when a character is not logged into the game. If your character's level is too low, you won't be able to accept quests for power leveling; if your level is too high, you might not get any experience for a low level quest.
