Select a class that has some utility and can excel at DPS. I prefer Shamens, Paladins or Druids due to their amazing buffs, versatility and their healing abilities(very helpful in PVE). Also choose low maintenance professions like hrebalism or mining. These power leveling profession can level quickly and do not require much effort besides selling them at the auction house. Remember everybody needs GOLD!!

 

The meeting stone and "looking for a Group" chat has been eliminated. Once your character reaches level 15, start participating in as much dungeon play as you possible can. Only complete quests/ quest chains that lead to dungeons rewards or has some benefits to your class(IE Shamen totem quests). The current dungeon que system allows players to participate in more instances per day than ever before. By participating in mostly dungeons, a player can gain enormous amounts of XP points that can level a player at least twice a day. Once a dungeon turns green stop queing for it.

 

These are the different dungeons that are scattered across the world of Azeroth. If you can get your linked account friend, power leveling guild member, or a kind stranger to run you through the low level instances then you will not only get great gear, money, and mats (materials - items used for your professions)you will get the experience of the higher level mobs you are killing or that your higher level character is killing for you to power leveling.
