You might not think this now if you are new to the game, but power leveling earlier levels really does not require any special guide. From level 1-10 or so, your starting area should provide lots of easy quests that will take no time at all to do. If you still do not ding 10, just grind on some mobs until you do. When you are sick of instancing, go out and grind a little. I'm not telling you to grind a full power leveling, just grind as much as you can. This gives you a nice break from instancing!

 

Use the "Looking for More" tool built-in, or ask some of your friends you met earlier from other instances.Now, when you run out of quests your level, and all your quests are red, go out and do an instance. Lots of people say instances are wastes of time, but from experience I can say they give lots of exp and are MUCH more fun than grinding. It is more helpful for your account power leveling. And besides, you get cool blue and epic gear! When you find an instance that gives substantial EXP in a short time, go ahead and repeat it until you ding. Even if you have all the good gear, you can still get exp and money from vendor trash.

 

Use your talent points in a way that increases your dps and reduces downtime. The faster you can kill a monster and then jump to the next one, the faster you level. Before purchasing a mount, kill all monsters while you are traveling. This provides an extra boast to your experience. All of these can help you on your power leveling. You can go to learn more about power leveling. Buy the biggest bags you can, as soon as you can. Early on, you don't need good armor and bags off the Auction House shouldn't cost too much. Always loot EVERYTHING. Even grey vendor trash can add up to make some good money.
